Provision of Design and Construction services for known defects on the HV & LV systems

Client: Enterprise plc., for E.ON Central Networks
Location: East Midlands

Utilergy are well known for our expertise and experience in designing solutions and removing defects from the overhead line network to comply with ESQCR, and we were happy to support Enterprise in clearing the network from defects in the East Midlands region.

We were provided with a list of all known defects on the electricity system.  Our team surveyed the network and made an assessment of requirements, whilst recording additional, previously undetected defects on the system.  We then established the most cost effective solutions and created work packages for each section of network, comprising work instructions, risk assessment, budgets to complete, detailed design drawings, and customer contact details. We also arranged all land access with customers.

In addition, we provided our own team of linesmen to complete a proportion of the works we had designed.
