Our People are key to our success

We recognise that our people are fundamental to the success of our business.  It is therefore essential that we ensure that they receive the necessary training and development whilst working for us.

We ensure that all of our employees undergo rigorous training in accordance with our in-house training and development programmes, and the use of external training organisations. Ensuring our employees have the right skills and competence to perform their duties is vital in maintaining a safe working environment and achieving the standards of quality required from our activities.

All employees and subcontract employees working on our contracts are assessed as competent to perform the duties on the basis of the appropriate qualifications, training, skills and experience prior to working on any of our contracts.  We insist that all our employees achieve authorisation levels in accordance with the highest standards set by the UK and Ireland utility industries, before we deploy them on site activities.

We also ensure that all our employees and subcontractors have the necessary tools, plant, equipment and vehicles in order to carry out their activities safely and competently.

Through frequent consultation and communication with our team members we aim to ensure that each employee understands how their contribution impacts on the current and future success of the Utilergy business.
