Design and Refurbishment of LV and HV overhead line network, with known ESQCR defects

Location:  Norwich, East Anglia

Utilergy has completed a work programme to remove known defects from the overhead line system in East Anglia. Our construction works has included extensive wood pole changes, ABC conductoring and service renewal on the low voltage network.

In addition, we have designed solutions for each defect identified on the system, with responsibility for the completion of a comprehensive network appraisal.  The aim being to make the entire section of the network covered by each system outage compliant with specification and the Electricity Safety,Quality and Continuity Regulations (ESQCR).

We have completed our works in a geographic format, focusing our entire team in one area to clear all defects before moving on to the next area.  This approach is more efficient for all parties and minimises the overall disruption to customers.

Framework for Distribution Overhead Line Works up to 33kV

ESQCR – LV and HV Asset Refurbishment

Utilergy completed a two year contract to support Enterprise in the completion of asset refurbishment works for Scottish Power Energy Networks. We completed a wide range of activities on the electricity distribution system including high and low voltage overhead line refurbishment, substation rebuilds, service renewals, low voltage rebuilds, and large scale restringing of low voltage and high voltage conductors.
