We care about the communities we work in

We recognise that our activities affect the communities that we work in, and that the reputation of Utilergy and our clients can be affected by our actions.  We hold our integrity in high regard, and expect every team member to act responsibly and be respectful of the communities that we are working in.

When completing large schemes which affect local communities for long periods of time, we arrange meetings to inform local residents of our work activities, the durations of our works, and to answer any questions that they may have.  We also provide contact names and numbers to residents so that they can contact us during the course of the work programme with any queries.

We have embedded a culture of positive customer service into our team, with all our employees embracing their responsibilities to be helpful, and to act sensitively when interacting with the general public.  Our team recognises that a good relationship with local residents removes frustrations that can occur when utility providers are disrupting communities during the course of the works, and that positive customer service benefits the smooth completion of the work programme, removing unnecessary conflict.

We strive to recruit our employees and subcontractors from the communities in which we work, in order to strengthen the local economy and maintain skills levels within those areas.
