Understanding our responsibilities and obligations, protects our future

We recognise that our activities and the materials we use can have an effect on the environment and as such we are committed to complying with relevant environmental legislation, client policies and procedures, and other environmental obligations.

We promote environmental awareness, best practice and legal compliance amongst our team, and strive to have a positive influence on the environmental performance of our subcontractors. Our Environmental Management System is certified to ISO 14001:2015.

Together with our clients, we monitor compliance to procedures and agreed environmental targets, whilst ensuring any non-conformances are addressed immediately.

Our current environmental objectives are:

• Land Contamination – ensure all sites are in a condition suitable for the intended use and appropriate measures are taken to prevent contamination;
• Energy efficiency – promote efficient use of energy;
• Visual – minimise our impact on the natural and man-made environment;
• Resources – target to reduce resource usage across our activities;
• Waste – ensure accurate recording and segregation of all waste disposed;
• Communication – ensure effective internal and external communication;
• Environmental champions appointed across our organisation;
• Encourage staff and suppliers to recycle waste wherever possible;
